What does SignalProof do?

SignalProof generates repeatable iPhone audio test signals including sine tones, pink noise, white noise, brown noise, and frequency sweeps for speaker checks, room troubleshooting, isolation comparisons, and sound meter sanity checks.

Does SignalProof produce a guaranteed dBSPL level?

No. SignalProof controls the digital signal parameters, but acoustic sound pressure depends on iPhone volume, speaker, distance, room, device model, and measurement setup.

Can I use it with SilentProof or another sound meter?

Yes. SignalProof is designed as a practical signal source for SilentProof validation workflows and for sanity checks with other sound meter apps or external meters.

Is SignalProof a certified calibrator or medical hearing test?

No. SignalProof is not a legal calibration device, Class 1 or Class 2 sound level calibrator, laboratory certificate, or hearing diagnosis tool.

Does SignalProof require an account or cloud sync?

No. The MVP is local-first. The website exposes lightweight support and health endpoints, but it does not store test sessions or user audio data.

How much does SignalProof 1.0 cost?

SignalProof 1.0 is planned as a free iPhone app with no in-app purchases at launch.
